Financial / Management Accountant (RTR) | Newark | £50,000 + suite of benefits (hybrid working)

The Opportunity

Are you a finalist / newly qualified accountant looking for progression, challenge and career development?

This is an exceptional time to join the business. It’s a large scale PLC amid an exciting phase of investment and change. Part of that journey is the set up and optimisation of a world-class financial shared service centre and you have chance to join at the front end of that interesting and valuable project.

You’ll be working with like-minded and talented colleagues and enjoy working on a range of projects focused on excellent across the new SSC.

The remit will include management accounting and reporting, process improvement, review of financial controls and procedures, best ways of working. There’s loads to get stuck into a very clear pathways for promotion and career development within a market leading UK PLC.

You can really make an impact here and build your profile within the business swiftly. You’ll get chance to work on a high profile ERP implementation project which will be extremely career-valuable (and very interesting and insightful!) experience.

Required:

  • A can do attitude - you are likely to be a management accountant / financial accountant with a proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Able to work in collaborative teams and able to communicate with others confidently.
  • Confident analytical / Excel skills.
  • Keenness to work on projects alongside the BAU.
  • ACCA / ACA or CIMA qualified or approaching qualification
  • Sound technical accounting understanding
