We are currently representing a well renowned Architectural practice based in Newark, who are actively seeking an ambitious Architectural Technologist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a privately owned company, with close to 90 staff, spread over three offices across the UK.

Our client is ideally looking for a highly motivated Architectural Technologist with around 2 years post qualification experience. The successful Architectural Technologist is required to work within the company's industrial sector so it would be highly advantageous to have previous experience within this sector. Projects will include industrial units, commercial parks, and retail and transport developments. Our client has huge long-term prospects, a tremendous landbank affiliation, and 95% of their work is with reliable repeat clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a ambitious Architectural technologist to join a progressive employer, where they career aspirations, wellbeing and will be prioritised.

Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration
  • Salary Expectations: £30,000 to £40,000 DOE

Architectural Technologist Position Overview
  • Working across RIBA stages with a focus on the technical stages Ensure all projects are delivered to the deadline and are meeting all design requirements
  • Work on a number of industrial projects including energy, waste, manufacturing and distribution centres
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, local planning authorities and building control
  • Work at a practice that takes pride in developing their staff
  • Opportunity to progress and achieve CIAT status
  • Familiar with Technical Building Design and Building Regulations to prepare packages and make submissions
  • Carrying out site visits
Architectural Technologist Position Requirements
  • Experience within the Industrial Sector.
  • Client facing experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and project delivery expertise.
  • All / most RIBA stages experience.
  • Ability to manage a small team
  • AutoCAD and / or Revit expertise.
  • Work from the office 100% of the time, with occasional flexibility where agreed
  • Flexible working hours, providing there's a reliable 7.5hr working routine.
