Future Prospects Group are delighted to be working with our client from within the manufacturing industry who are actively recruiting for a Accounts Administrator on a Part-time, permanent basis to join their team.

As a Financial Administrator you will responsible for the administration of purchase ledger, credit control & banking. This role offers the opportunity of training and development for the right candidate.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities as a Accounts Administrator will include:

  • Manage financial transactions and bank reconciliation.
  • Match delivery notes to invoices and send for approval.
  • Manage PayPal account and send purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Weekly data and cash forecasts for SMT.
  • Process bi-weekly supplier payments and review invoices on Sage.
  • Send monthly customer statements and manage expense claims.
  • Handle credit control and debt recovery.
  • Produce accounting reports and assist during audits/year-end.
  • Month-end preparation and authorize invoices.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Accounts Administrator will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • AAT or equivalent qualification at a minimum of L2 (or working towards) - is desirable or qualified through experience.
  • Strong Numerical skills
  • Good knowledge of excel and Microsoft 365
  • Strong understanding of accounts functions
  • Experienced in Sage 50 (purchase/accounts and sales)
  • Experienced in using online banking for business purpose.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
