Senior Engineer

Your new companyYou will be joining a highly regarded Tier 1 highways contractor that focusses on the construction, upgrade, and maintenance of road infrastructure. Heavily involved in a wide range of projects, including motorways, dual-carriageways, interchanges, local connections, tunnels, flyovers, and bridges. The client is beginning work on a multimillion-pound project and is now on the lookout for a Senior Engineer.

Your new roleYou will be working as a Senior Engineer on a major highways project. You will hold a pivotal role in ensuring that complex engineering tasks are successfully completed. Liaising with the design team, planning team and subcontractors to ensure the project meets specification. As senior engineer, you will work proactively and support site engineers and more junior staff and get stuck in when required.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed, you will need on-site construction experience working on major highways projects as an Engineer. A degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering, or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering. Additionally, you will have CSCS and SMSTS or SSSTS.
