Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and client-focused Mortgage Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert mortgage advice, guiding clients through the mortgage application process while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients’ financial situations to recommend suitable mortgage products.
  • Advise clients on mortgage options, including residential, buy-to-let, and remortgage solutions.
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth mortgage applications.
  • Stay up to date with mortgage products, interest rates, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional client service, maintaining long-term relationships and delivering regular reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for additional financial services, such as protection or insurance products.

Skills & Experience Required

  • CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor, preferably within a financial services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lenders, and application processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients.
  • Ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and client-friendly manner.
  • High ethical and professional standards in line with FCA regulations.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
