Client Details

Our client is a global leader in the service they provide. They have various sites throughout the UK, but you will be based from the c. £20 million turnover site, which is based between Mansfield and Newark.

Description

As FP&A Analyst, you will be reporting into the FP&A Manager who works at another UK site, but he will be on hand for training and support. You will be responsible for providing accurate weekly financial reporting for your site and will supporting the site management team with increasing the site's productivity and profitability. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Producing and presenting weekly financial reports for the site.
  • Ensuring weekly invoicing is correct and done in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing the month end accounts and presenting to the Finance Director and FP&A Manager.
  • Working closely with the site management team to drive down the site's costs and increase profitability
  • Producing ad hoc financial analysis with commentary for the site management team
  • Preparing business plans and forecasts, and tracking reliability of plans and performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Developing customer profitability analysis to support decision making
  • Acting as the site's key finance contact at the site.
  • Presenting your analysis and recommendations to the site management team
  • Liaising with the site leadership team to help with strategic decision making
  • Managing improvement projects for the site

Profile

To be considered for this role you do not need experience of all the above duties, as training will be provided. However, you must:

  • Have experience of working in management accounts
  • Be competent with double entry bookkeeping
  • Be inquisitive and have an eye for detail.
  • Have the ability and confidence to speak and present to both finance and non-finance stakeholders at varying levels

You will ideally be studying CIMA or ACCA, but my client is also considering individuals who are studying AAT or qualified by experience.
