Assembly Technician - Company Overview

Our client, a market leading manufacturer, is currently looking for an experienced Assembly Technician to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. They are continuing to grow at an impressive rate due to their excellent reputation and trusted expertise in their field.

Assembly Technician - Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assembly of electrical wiring and plumbing systems in control panels.
  • Assembly of a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Quality inspections & testing all equipment post production.
  • Work closely with the project co-ordinating team to deliver the production schedule, advising on timescales.
  • Load and offload delivery vehicles either by hand or using the forklift.
  • Assist with stock taking when necessary.
  • Manage and maintain stock levels and notify the Operations Manager or re-ordering requirements.
  • Take incoming deliveries, check, unpack and store in the correct area of the workshop.
  • Maintain up to date, accurate records on the CRM.
  • Support team members to complete any tasks as required from time to time.
  • Keep a clean, organised workspace, following all Health & Safety procedures.

Assembly Technician - Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an electrical engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of pumps, filtration, and control systems
  • Can be either electrically or Mechanically biased
  • Forklift Truck License
  • Health and Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-Motivated, Enthusiastic and Hardworking
  • Computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Packages
