Assembly Technician - Company Overview
Our client, a market leading manufacturer, is currently looking for an experienced Assembly Technician to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. They are continuing to grow at an impressive rate due to their excellent reputation and trusted expertise in their field.
Assembly Technician - Roles & Responsibilities
- Assembly of electrical wiring and plumbing systems in control panels.
- Assembly of a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Quality inspections & testing all equipment post production.
- Work closely with the project co-ordinating team to deliver the production schedule, advising on timescales.
- Load and offload delivery vehicles either by hand or using the forklift.
- Assist with stock taking when necessary.
- Manage and maintain stock levels and notify the Operations Manager or re-ordering requirements.
- Take incoming deliveries, check, unpack and store in the correct area of the workshop.
- Maintain up to date, accurate records on the CRM.
- Support team members to complete any tasks as required from time to time.
- Keep a clean, organised workspace, following all Health & Safety procedures.
Assembly Technician - Skills & Experience
- Experience in an electrical engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of pumps, filtration, and control systems
- Can be either electrically or Mechanically biased
- Forklift Truck License
- Health and Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment
- Self-Motivated, Enthusiastic and Hardworking
- Computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Packages
