Finance System Administrator

Reporting to the Systems Accountant (Master Data Manager), this position is newly created and will add to an already established master data team. The team is responsible for championing master data across this busy commercial company.

You will assist in managing the quality and process around the company’s Master Data in core systems. Enter, control and review this vital data and assist in supporting and delivering continuous improvement projects within the Group.

The role could suit an aspiring Accountant or somebody who is data driven and enjoys being analytical. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies where needed.

Full training will be provided, and you will ideally be available to start as soon as possible.

You will be part of a team with the following responsibilities.

• Ensuring business Master Data is robust and does not cause any downstream issues.• Maintain data to include Product and Static data. • Setup and maintain product structures based on approved cost sheets.• Roll out process understanding with the wider business, ensuring all stakeholders are clear on requirements and impact of incorrect Master Data.

Principle Accountabilities

• Ensuring that relevant master data updates are made to all related systems as appropriate in a timely manner• Run and maintain exception reporting across all FFUK Master Data• Maintain auditable history of Master Data changes• Report on adherence to 'Master Data timing schedule’ to ensure business aligned to Master Data critical paths• Support System Accountant in maintaining a controlled Master Data environment• Support System Accountant in other activities as required

Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications

• Demonstrable understanding of business processes• Experience of working with a large ERP system would be advantageous. • Strong Excel skills• Strong communication skills
