About the Role:

GSL Education are actively seeking an Art  Teacher for immediate placement at Client Schools in Spalding, Lincolnshire. If you're passionate about fostering creativity and can adeptly manage diverse classroom dynamics, we encourage you to seize this exciting chance to inspire through art and design education, showcasing your commitment to excellence in teaching, we invite you to join our team.

Art Teacher Role:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging art lessons incorporating diverse artistic mediums and techniques.
  • Encourage students to explore their creativity, refine their artistic skills, and express themselves through art.
  • Assess student progress and offer constructive feedback to facilitate their artistic growth.
  • Establish an inspiring and inclusive art studio environment conducive to artistic exploration and self-expression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the art curriculum and present students' artwork in exhibitions and displays.
  • Have a generally patient demeanour when dealing with students.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Qualified Teaching Status
  • Have a degree in subject area
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for art and a creative approach to teaching the subject.
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
  • Possess a enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves
  • Have a fully checkable work history
