As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Customer Technical Manager to join their business.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Assist the Senior Technical Manager with day-to-day technical and quality issues, building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and growers.* Act as the technical point of contact for key customers * Lead customer-focused initiatives on quality, food safety, sustainability, and new product development.* Handle all customer queries, complaints, and rejections, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.* Work with the Product Manager to enhance quality performance and business efficiency within the supply base.* Oversee customer product specifications and ensure correct implementation across the supply base.* Attend key customer meetings to stay updated on quality, innovation, ethical, and sustainability needs.* Support and host customer visits to both our site and supplier locations.* Provide technical and quality KPI information, including complaints, QC results, and customer feedback to suppliers and growers.* Produce monthly and quarterly technical reports on supplier and product performance against KPI targets and continuous improvement plans.About you:* Experience in a similar role within fresh produce or food manufacturing is required * Experience facing into retailers is requiredIf you believe you have the skills and personality to fit these requirements please either apply via this advert or call Henderson Brown on for more information
