We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our team at Control Freaks in Holbeach on a full time, permanent basis. Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

Your role will be to assist with the day-to-day engineering administration duties ensuring the highest standards are consistently maintained. Through good attention to detail, manage, organise, prioritise, and follow up on all administrative tasks to ensure excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain records and files
  • Purchase processing (RFQs, POs, Receipts and Allocations)
  • Stock control
  • Coordinate with suppliers & contractors via email / telephone
  • Sales processing (Estimates, Sales Orders, Invoicing)
  • Process enquiries, orders, and follow-ups with customers via email / telephone
  • Organise / handle accommodation, travel & expenses
  • Provide planned and reactive administrative assistance to the engineering team
  • To answer phone calls in a professional manner and prioritise and delegate to relevant team members
  • Ad-hoc projects (Cost saving (energy, fuel, etc), systemising, improvements, renewing contracts, drafting reports, etc)

Required Skills:

  • Previous administration experience with a busy SME
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills
  • A positive, "can do" & friendly attitude
  • A high level of literacy
  • Intermediate / advanced knowledge of computer business software & systems - Word / Excel / PowerPoint / QuickBooks / Sage / other accounting - Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an advantage
  • Admin experience within a similar engineering field would also be desirable, but not necessary.
