Our client is a market leading international organisation with a large manufacturing footprint in the North East. Due to continued growth and business investment they are looking to strengthen their business with the appointment of a talented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
You would effectively lead the Quality Assurance related activities on site, including quality management systems ownership within a busy manufacturing and logistics operation; including supporting the production environment, new product quality planning, defect reporting and root cause analysis, supplier quality interactions and support to customers.
Candidates should hold a relevant technical qualification to HNC level and have 5 years plus in a similar role within a complex manufacturing environment. Specific exposure to structured business improvement such Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Advanced Quality Planning tools such as APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, 8D etc would be highly desirable.
