Teaching assistant

Daily Rate: £85.00 - £110.00

Location – Spilsby, also work available in Boston

Start date: December 2024 or January 2025

Are you looking to work with children aged 11 – 16 in secondary schools? Do you like helping others get the best out of themselves?

We work with a secondary school in Spilsby who require Teaching Assistants to join them in December 2024. The role is initially to work via our supply agency full or part time with a view to being appointed when an opportunity arises.

Teaching assistant responsibilities:

Establish a professional rapport with students aged 11 – 16.
To differentiate the support you give to each and every student.
Engage in activities led by the classroom teacher and offer support where possible.
Provide support to student who have special needs, ensuring their safety whilst following the school’s curriculum.
Offer guidance and feedback to students under the direction of the class teacher.

Qualifications and experience required:

GCSE’s or equivalent are essential
A-levels, Degree, Master’s degree, all desirable
Experience with children outside of school or with vulnerable adults
The role is also suitable for university students who are currently studying
Experience in care or nursing would also be desired but not essential

Work in Secondary and SEN Schools in Spilsby and Boston
