Tennial Personnel are seeking a Stores Person to join our client's Materials Department in Ipswich. This position works Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm on a temporary to permanent basis (if a 12 week period is successfully completed, a permanent role may be offered). This role is crucial in managing stock levels, handling deliveries and ensuring production teams have the right components when needed. Key Responsibilities:
Receive, check and inspect deliveries for damage, quantity and quality
Issue stock parts to production as required and update stock systems accordingly
Carry out kitting processes to prepare materials for production
Conduct regular stock checks and ensure accurate inventory records
Report non-conforming parts to management teams
Skills Required
Experience handling electronic / mechanical components and materials
Knowledge of conventional and surface mount device components
Ability to read and understand work instructions, Bills of Materials and stock systems
Strong attention to detail
Qualifications Required
Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role within electronics or mechanical assembly environment
Familiarity with basic hand tools
