Electrical Project Engineer – St Albans
Temporary to Permanent after 3 months
Monday to Friday
£40k to £50k depending on experience
Day to day roles and responsibilities:
- Oversee Projects from the receipt of the contract through to installation and commissioning
- Manage all commercial and technical aspects of the projects
- Communicate effectively with clients and their representatives
- Attend site meetings with clients and their representatives to discuss project progress and resolve issues
- Collaborate with suppliers to determine the suitability of electrical components for specific projects
- Work closely with the company’s draughting engineers and production team to ensure project requirements are met
- Ability to design electrical control schematic diagrams
The required electrical project engineer will require:
- Proven experience in the design of LV switchgear and package sub stations
- Familiarity with components such as protection relays and power factor correction equipment
- Experience in designing electrical control and monitory systems
- Ability to create and interpret electrical schematic diagrams
- Ability to use CAD proficiently for electrical design purposes
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer is a must
