The Role

We are seeking a skilledDamp, Mould, Repairs Surveyorto join our clients property team on a contrcat basis to clear legacy cases of damp and mould. You will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing these damp and mould issues across the housing stock, ensuring effective solutions are implemented promptly to maintain high living standards for tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct property inspections to assess damp, mould, and disrepair issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations.

  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to arrange remedial works efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and housing standards.

  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance and housing management teams to identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using housing management systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in surveying, maintenance, or repairs within the housing sector.

  • Knowledge of building pathology, particularly damp and mould-related issues.

  • Strong understanding of housing legislation and health and safety regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with tenants and contractors.

  • The ability to work independently, manage workloads, and prioritise effectively.

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
