Elevate Projects are working on partnership with our valued client, a reputable local provider of affordable housingand not for profit developer based in Cornwall, to appoint an experienced Compliance Manager to their buy Assets 7 Investment team.

You will take the lead on legislative compliance of the portfolio of properties when it comes to Fire Safety and Legionella. Managing a small technical team and appointed contractors to ensure works are completed to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.

  • Reviewing fire risk assessments for buildings to identify potential fire hazards.
  • Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and local codes (such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 in the UK).
  • Ensuring fire alarms, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and smoke detectors are installed, inspected, and maintained properly.
  • Conducting regular checks to confirm that all fire safety equipment is functional and up-to-date.
  • Deliver appropriate remedial actions
