Machine Assistant (Nights)

• Hourly Rate: £13.69 per hour

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment? We have an excellent opportunity for a Machine Assistant to join our client’s team in St Neots on a temporary basis, with the potential to progress into a permanent position.

As a Machine Assistant, you will play a key supportive role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery while gaining valuable experience and opportunities for career advancement.

• Assist with machine operations to ensure efficient production flow.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Communicate effectively to support smooth information flow within the team.
• Work collaboratively to achieve team objectives and production targets.
• Provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Stay open to learning and developing new skills in line with evolving technologies and processes.

• Previous experience operating machines or working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
