The role requires a professional who can efficiently handle financial data, maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with Senior Stakeholders and support strategic decision-making processes.

Description

  • Manage financial operations within the department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement robust financial strategies in line with company goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Work closely with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  • Liaise with other department heads to streamline financial practices.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and processes as required.

Profile

A successful Group Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional qualification in Accounting & Finance.
  • Experience working in the not for profit sector
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience in a leadership role within an accounting or finance team.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial individual
