My client is a market leader in their sector. We are on the hunt for a Head of Sales with excellent people skills and a proven record of exceeding targets to join their senior management team. The ideal candidate will have a background of working in a direct face to face sales environment or high-end retail.
What does the role of Head of Sales look like:
- Accountability for sales performance across all showrooms
- Recruit, train, and develop the sales team
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales
- Manage sales forecasting and financial targets
- Produce reports and represent the sales team at senior meetings
- Ensure the team are following all sales processes to achieve targets
What skills and Experience are we looking for:
- A proven record managing sales, ideally from a retail or showroom environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen and good negotiator
- Results driven with a determination to succeed
- Good organisational skills with a focus on results
- Experience managing and motivating a sales team
