Due to their growing portfolio of projects, we are seeking to speak with driven and detail-oriented Junior Project Managers.
**Job Description**
As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of construction projects. You will be responsible for liaising with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires a high level of communication, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and a willingness to drive across the UK to monitor project progress and provide on-site assistance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the development and tracking of project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Read, understand, and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained and complies with company standards and industry regulations.
- Assist with risk management, identifying potential issues and developing solutions.
- Attend on-site meetings and conduct site visits as necessary to oversee project progress.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and clients.
- Assist with the procurement of materials and services.
- Contribute to project evaluations and assessment of results.
**Qualifications**
- Experience of project managing on construction sites.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
