Customer Executive Assistant

Working 5 days a week over weekdays and weekends on a Rota basis!

Tate are currently recruiting for a well-established travel company based in St Albans, whose team are passionate about what they do. They pride themselves on giving excellent customer service and are looking for someone with the same mindset to join their team!

As a Customer Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a first-class level of customer service, through telephone, email and social media.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Updating customers of pre travel plans, including cancellations
  • Handling post travel enquiries and complaints
  • Switching between different communication channels in a busy environment
  • Solving complex issues
  • Working to service level agreements
  • Sending balance reminders and taking deposits or payments from customers
  • Processing cancellations and amendments on the internal system

Working in a busy and fast paced environment, it is important that the successful candidate has previous experience working in a similar role, with proven experience demonstrating dealing with complex issues and being able to resolve these issues. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written
  • Ability to defuse negative situations with appropriate solutions
  • Ability to manage customer expectations
  • Knowledge of working with social media in a customer focused role
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to their role
  • Able to work under pressure
