Administrator

Do you have a drive and desire to want to learn and grow within a procurement/supply chain environment?

My client, based in St. Albans, is looking for a highly motivated and organised administrator to join their growing team.

You will be responsible for the full procurement process from processing the order to receipting the goods in our warehouse and packaging them up ready for the engineering team to deliver the jobs on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolved issues.
  • Communicate with suppliers and quotes, negotiate prices, arrange samples, and source new suppliers.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, reconcile any discrepancies and process returns for faulty unwanted items ensuring the returns are processed within the required time frames.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure that supplies are maintained at adequate levels both in the warehouse and engineering van stock.
  • Monitor budgets, compare prices, and assist in cost-saving initiatives.
  • Generate and analyse procurement reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
