We have an exciting opportunity to work with a main contractorin the Rail/Water sectoras a Senior Estimatoron permanent basis. As the Senior Estimator you will lead estimates for civil engineering works and collaborate with the tender teams.

Responsibilities:
- Lead team of estimators for larger tendors, monitoring and developing junior estimators
- identify opportunity and risk during tender process
- Present basis of estimate and key assumptions
- Prepare handovers to site teams at contract award
- Develop a tender win stratergy alongside the business unit teams
- Liase with the business unit, Bid Manager and Planner to agree methodology and principles
What do we need from you?
- Experience in water and civils sectors
- Proven track record working on tenders ranging up to 50million
- Chartered, incorporated status or similar
- Ability to ensure all tender submissions are both feasible and profitable
- Confidence in dealing with customers and personnel at a senior level
The salary is indicative and based on experience.
