- Oversee the efficient operation of HR policies, documentation, and procedures.
- Manage recruitment, including job advertisements, candidate selection, interviews, and onboarding.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, including grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and HR best practices, including TUPE transfers where applicable.
- Lead performance management, appraisals, and remuneration reviews.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, holiday, and sickness, taking appropriate action where necessary.
- Develop and implement policies on performance management, absence, and disciplinary procedures.
- Organise training plans and ensure mandatory training is completed within probation periods.
- Administer payroll, pensions, and expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
- Promote a positive work culture and drive well-being initiatives.
- Organise internal communications, staff meetings, and engagement events.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent) essential.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
- Experience in handling TUPE transfers and employee relations.
- Ability to build relationships and engage effectively at all levels of the business.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, approachable, and able to work confidentially with discretion.
