The position will involve planning, coordinating and carrying out assessments of products and systems to ensure that they meet all relevant industry standards and regulations.Responsibilities • Ensure that products meet all relevant industry standards and regulations.• Plan, coordinate and carry out assessments of products.• Managing multiple projects • Preparing contract offers and estimates for the assessments- ensuring that they realistic for the work to be done and that the timescales are achievable. • Work closely with cross-functions teams to support the certification processes.• Draft certificates and reports and review the ones prepared by junior members of the team and provide guidance is needed.• Conduct research on the products as required and assess the products fitness within contract periods and price estimates. • Coordinate all work and activities involved in assessments, for example testing and inspecting.• Carry out factory surveillance reports and certificate maintenance tasks.• Monitor progress of allocated work.The Person• Proven experience as a Certification Engineer or similar role.• Familiarity with product certification standards and regulations (CE, UL, ISO, IEC, etc.).• Strong knowledge of product safety, testing processes, and regulatory requirements.• Excellent communication and project management skills.• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.• Ability to work independently as well as a team. • Happy to suggest improvements.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
