The position is for a Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Manager located in Hertfordshire on a permanent basis.
The salary range is between £42,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Candidates should have relevant experience in a Quality, Compliance, or Certification role within the engineering manufacturing sector.
A qualification in engineering or equivalent experience is preferred, along with familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, or IATF16949 standards.
The role involves assessing electrical product compliance, leading regulatory activities, and working closely with design and manufacturing teams.

JOB- Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Manager LOCATION- HertfordshireTERM- PermanentSALARY- £42,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependant on experience)My client works within the engineering manufacturing sector and they are looking to take on an experienced Quality Engineer / Compliance Engineer who is keen to work in, or move into a Quality Manager role and work with their products, on a permanent basis, in the Hertfordshire area.The Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR be qualified by experience
Have experience in a similar Quality, Compliance, Certification, Reliability or similar role
Industry experience within Engineering and Manufacturing
Previous experience working with industrial electrical products
Excellent attention to detail
Have had exposure to various governing bodies and regulations
Be capable of leading compliance and reliability activities
Previous experience with an ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949 or similar
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
Good problem-solving skills
Be keen to develop with the company long term

The Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Manager role will involve:

Assessing electrical product compliance and reliability for the relevant regulations and governing bodies
Working with the Design and Manufacturing team to ensure the products are in line with standards
Leading compliance and regulatory activities to improve product and process reliability
Working with other teams to meet CE regulations
Assisting in the auditing process for the facility
Ensuring that components are manufactured with environmental standards in mind
