Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

CGI Manager

£600 per day, inside IR35

Watford - hybrid role

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

  • Leads, manages, and is responsible for high value, high profile and complex cross functional projects using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Intelligent Automation methodologies.
  • Delivers measurable and validated results, leads playback to SLT multifunction Sponsors
  • Leads Process Optimization functional reviews and provides recommendations on the use of Lean, DMAIC and IA tools
  • Guides the project team through all phases of the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) roadmap.
  • Identifies the "Voice of the Customer" through data collection, surveys, and interviews.
  • Oversees the collection and analysis of data. Identifies and defines project metrics.
  • Scopes and assists in project definition for LSS projects.
  • Performs measurement systems and capability analysis.
  • Reviews statistical tests for accuracy.
  • Leads the project team in the generation and evaluation of solutions.
  • Develops pilot plans as needed.
  • Develops control plans to ensure project gains are continuous and sustainable.
  • Knowledgeable in the Agile Scrum methodology, Jira and Product Manager/Owner roles.

PROGRAM SUPPORT:

  • Responsible for the process improvement program through the development and delivery of process improvement material and training.
  • Leads in the development and delivery of continuous improvement documentation and training.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of the continuous improvement standards and methods utilizing industry best practices.
  • Identifies project opportunities while working within various business functions.
  • May participate on project teams outside of the functional area as a subject matter expert (SME).
  • Drives innovative strategies
  • Cognizant of the evolving continuous improvement external and internal landscape and can enable new strategies, Intelligent Automation and deep analytics

Minimum Formal Education

Bachelor's degree (in Operations Management, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Math, Statistics or another technical major preferred)

Black Belt certification preferred

Agile, Safe, PMP, PgMP or Prince2 certification an advantage
