Product Developer - Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate collections with Designers, internal teams, and suppliers, from tech packs to production shipment
- Oversee the development, approval, and communication of all fabric, trimming, and accessory supplies.
- As Product Developer, provide clear instructions to factories to ensure samples meet specifications
- Manage timelines from initial prototypes to bulk production
- Assist in fit sessions for collections, special make-ups (SMUs), and special projects
- Communicate with Buyers and Garment Technicians on order comments as Product Developer.
Personal Specifications:
- 2-5 years' Apparel Product Development experience in sportswear
- Hands-on experience with stretch fabrics and seamless construction
- Deep understanding of apparel components and product costing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, well-organized, team-oriented, and flexible
- Diploma or Degree in Textile, Fashion, or Clothing-related discipline.
Salary: £30k to £40k depending on experience
