SALARY- 42,000 - 55,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
My client works within the engineering manufacturing sector and they are looking to take on an experienced Quality Engineer / Compliance Engineer who is keen to work in, or move into a Quality Manager role and work with their products, on a permanent basis, in the Hertfordshire area.
The Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR be qualified by experience
- Have experience in a similar Quality, Compliance, Certification, Reliability or similar role
- Industry experience within Engineering and Manufacturing
- Previous experience working with industrial electrical products
- Excellent attention to detail
- Have had exposure to various governing bodies and regulations
- Be capable of leading compliance and reliability activities
- Previous experience with an ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949 or similar
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
- Good problem-solving skills
- Be keen to develop with the company long term
- Assessing electrical product compliance and reliability for the relevant regulations and governing bodies
- Working with the Design and Manufacturing team to ensure the products are in line with standards
- Leading compliance and regulatory activities to improve product and process reliability
- Working with other teams to meet CE regulations
- Assisting in the auditing process for the facility
- Ensuring that components are manufactured with environmental standards in mind
