Exciting Opportunity for a Permanent MEP Quantity Surveyor

ReCon Advisory Partners are recruiting for a leading consultancy based in Hertfordshire that specialises in providing consultancy services within the construction sector.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate cost estimates and budgets for MEP projects.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of project costs against budgets.
  • Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating submissions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist with financial reporting and cash flow forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant legislation.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to provide timely advice on costs and procurement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar field.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Package :

  • Up to £70,000 annual salary
  • Company car/allowance is negotiable
