Are you a Technical Buyer or similar, with a Manufacturing background, looking to step into a varied role within a tight-knit business which will give you international travel opportunities as well as great training and a clear path for progression?
On offer is the opportunity to join a manufacturing business who is going through a great period of expansion. They provide great quality equipment for their customers globally. They are looking for someone to be part of their tight-knit team who is looking to take the reins of the procurement department and who will grow within the company.
In this role you will be liaising with suppliers to negotiate costs and order materials. You will also be responsible to discuss with the engineering team to understand the equipment requirements for each project. Finally, you will be required to monitor the inventory levels and source parts.
This role would suit a Technical Buyer or similar, from a Manufacturing background, looking for a varied role within an expanding business who will offer a clear path for progression as well as a great working environment and company benefits.
The Role:
- Identifying, negotiating and securing cost reduction opportunities
- Liaising with suppliers
- Purchasing of materials
- Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
The Person:
- Technical Buyer or similar
- Manufacturing or Engineering background
