Job description:

We have a new vacancy for a Procurement Manager to work within our Corporate Services division in which you will drive change and make a real difference to leave your own legacy.  The ideal candidate will have excellent advanced category management skills enabling consistent delivery of business performance across IT, Finance, Legal, Consultancy & Professional Services.

You will be instrumental in developing comprehensive category strategies and driving business objectives forward with warmth. You will be responsible for implementing cost savings across relevant categories and negotiating contracts to meet business requirements. 

To excel in this role, you'll need to be a skilled negotiator and a strong communicator. This role requires an individual who is highly analytical and capable of prioritising multiple projects at once. For this role, we're really keen to bring in someone who is resilient and driven by growth.  Also effective and highly adaptable communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills .  Furthermore capable of maintaining a collaborative and professional approach in all stakeholder and supplier relationships.

What's important to you is to maintain transparency and compliance within your procurement policies and procedures. This is about driving forward business opportunities with warmth and leading a team of central functions.

The Key Requirements...

  • Proven strategic procurement background
  • Broad procurement experience including IT
  • Sourcing and category planning/management
  • Experience of outstanding stakeholder management and business partnering
  • In-depth, technical and category management knowledge
  • MCIPS (Preferred)
