We are working with an amazing business in Welwyn, who are growing at an exciting pace - and looking for an experienced Demand Planner / Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.

This is a brand new role and you will be working underneath a very supportive Manager, who is looking for this person to be their "number two" in the team. You will need to be very confident finding your way around various systems and enjoy taking on new and exciting projects along the way.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of the supply chain, the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and be super organised - to keep on top of all The forecasting and systems. We

The role will involve:

  • Planning productions
  • Ordering raw materials and ensuring they reach the factory on time
  • Chasing suppliers where necessary
  • First point of contact for any supplier queries
  • Ensuring all ingredients, recipes, suppliers and costs are kept up to date
  • Reporting and analysing trends and being proactive in spotting issues before they happen
  • Responsible for procurement and finding new suppliers to work with and sourcing new raw materials/improving costs on existing raw materials (this is a new project for the business!)
  • Assisting the Operations Director in the setting up and onboarding of new systems
  • Responsible for overseeing the stock take at our warehouse
  • Liaising with other departments including Technical, NPD, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Warehouse.

  • Forecasting and demand planning experience
