Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and presenting annual budgets, management accounts and future forecasts to Managers, the Leadership Team and Board Members to support the Business Plan
  • Responsible for monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate information for the Management Accounts
  • Utilising and setting up processes, procedures and contracts
  • Undertaking ad-hoc projects and identify process improvements
  • Assisting with the statutory accounts as required
  • To support the Finance Business Partner in the leadership of the Finance function
  • Input of financial data onto the House mark to enable benchmarking with other Registered Social Landlords

Skills and experience:

  • AAT fully qualified
  • Generalist Finance experience
  • Ability to analyse and interpret and financial information to inform business decisions effectively
  • Proficient in monthly reconciliations and setting up financial processes, procedures and contracts
  • Experience in preparing and presenting annual budget
  • Ability to write reports for financial and non-financial audiences
  • Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills
