The position as the Compliance Manager (M and E) is on a permanent basis, and specialises in Property Compliance and management of the staff within the department.Responsibilities:- Under the overall management from the Head of Property Services you will be responsible for all Health & Safety property compliance relating to the performance of Property Services functions including gas installations, servicing and repairs, electrical safety, fire safety, building safety, legionella, asbestos, and lifts. You will be required to continue to drive and develop compliance for all service areas, to achieve and maintain top quartile performance in all categories. This includes:- Liaising with customers and their representatives in areas of developing service delivery, providing equality and preparing and implementing opportunities for growth and innovation within this service area. Responsible for ensuring appropriate arrangements are in place to that all teams and people are effectively managed, have a clear focus on quality, health and safety, customer focus, are motivated to achieve challenging objectives, including its in-house apprentices.Managing the performance of various members of staff within the Property Services department, providing coaching and identifying development needsFocussing on Health and Safety compliance relating to the Property Services department (gas; electrical; asbestos etc)To ensure that contract and procurement arrangements are in line with company proceduresLiaising with customers to assess opportunities for growth and development within the service areaThe ideal person would possess/ have experience in:Level 5 in a construction related disciplineEvidence of CPDExperience in managing and developing a team(Ideally) Senior management experience within a property maintenance sectorFull driving licenseThis position offers an excellent package, with a very supportive work culture and exciting developments in the pipeline.
