About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Sheltered Team in Neighbourhoods, providing exceptional service to older customers. Sheltered housing offers self-contained flats with communal facilities, designed to support independent living for older people.
As a Scheme Manager, you will regularly visit the scheme, providing advice to residents, addressing tenancy issues, ensuring communal areas are clean, and arranging maintenance and repairs. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping to resolve tenancy-related issues, manage neighbourhood concerns, and promote thriving communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular visits to the scheme, at least once a week.
- Provide enhanced service and advice to residents.
- Manage tenancy issues and ensure communal areas are clean.
- Arrange maintenance and repairs in communal areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to support customers.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on improving customer satisfaction.
- Ability to reflect on working practices to enhance performance and deliver improved value for money.
- Effective collaboration with key partners to deliver shared objectives.
- Experience in the social housing sector or providing services to residents of registered providers (Desirable).
- Understanding of issues relating to older people and provision of services in the locality (Desirable).
- Customer-focused and passionate about providing excellent service.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Continually striving to improve work processes in line with business needs.
- Good IT skills, including knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Understanding of the financial implications of individual and team actions.
- Ability to capture customer insight data and act on feedback to improve services.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and schedule activities to deliver organizational objectives.

- Ability to assess problems and decide on appropriate actions.

- Full valid UK driving license is essential.
