Key Responsibilities:

Individual Support: Provide tailored assistance to pupils with special educational needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Group Facilitation: Work with small groups of students, leading activities that enhance learning and social development.

Flexibility: Adapt to various schools across Bodmin, undertaking both short-term and long-term assignments to meet the diverse needs of students and educational settings.

Inclusive Atmosphere: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to succeed.

Collaboration: Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the students you support.

About You:

Experience: While experience in the care or support sector is beneficial, it is not essential. We welcome individuals with a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.

Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in different school environments and with students of varying ages.

Qualifications: A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) is preferred but not required. We offer opportunities for professional development.

DBS Check: Must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS check on the update service.
