Assistant Accountant - REMOTE

As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting a portfolio of clients and being their key point of contact
- Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and VAT returns
- Supporting with month end and year end reporting
- Payroll and payment runs
- Supporting junior team members
- Ad hoc project work
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Good GCSEs in Maths and English
- AAT level 3 or 4 qualified or working towards your AAT Level 4
- Previous experience of working in an UK accountancy practice
- A team player who can use their own initiative
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of accounting software
Salary & Benefits:
£28,000 to £35,000 - Depending on qualifications and experience
