As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Bookkeeping, maintaining financial records and bank reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Supporting with month end and year end reporting
• Payroll and payment runs
• Helping to support a portfolio of clients
• Ad hoc project work

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Good GCSEs in Maths and English
• Working towards or willing to work towards an AAT level 2 or 3
• Previous experience of working in an UK accountancy practice
• A team player who can use their own initiative
• Good communication skills
• Proactive and a willingness to learn
• Knowledge of accounting software

Salary & Benefits:

£25,000 to £30,000 - Depending on qualifications and experience
