My client has an exciting new opportunity that has arisen to take the lead of their coastal kitchen based in St Ives and to deliver the very best food for their guests and guide the brigade of talented chefs.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Chef, including hiring, training, and overseeing performance.- Develop creative and high-quality menu items that align with customer preferences while upholding our standards.- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure excellence.- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations.- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary.- Work with the management team to create seasonal menus and special offerings.- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef or in a comparable leadership position within the culinary industry.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills for effective team management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
