Human Resources Business Partner (Employee Relations) - Mid Cornwall / Hybrid - £45,000
Well Placed HR have been engaged by a long standing client, a specialist manufacturing focussed business with a highly respected reputation in Cornwall. The business has asked us to source their new HR Business Partner, a broad and interesting role with particular focus on delivering high quality employee relations. The role is offered on a full time, permanent contract with the option for hybrid working as and when required (maximum two days per week).
Working as part of a highly experienced people management team, and supporting a sizeable head count, the successful candidate will assume lead responsibility for delivering high quality HRM guidance to a pre-determined sub-sector of the business (likely more than one geographical location). Key responsibilities to include:
- Work closely with senior management team and departmental leaders to lead and influence on delivering a high quality HRM service, acting as a lead contact for queries and general project management
- Deliver a high quality people management service with particular emphasis on employee relations
- Ensure compliance of UK employment law
- Nurture and develop colleagues, ensuring that those that want to progress - do
- Support department heads in all aspects of discipline and grievance processes
- Develop and lead a high quality recruitment, onboarding and training programs
- Support change management programs, supporting senior management team and the wider workforce
- Reward and compensation analysis and policy roll-out
We’re looking for a candidate with at least 2-3 years of recently gained people management experience gained at either BP, manager, or advisor level and with up to date knowledge of all aspects of human resources, employment law and general HR policy. Ideally, you’ll be qualified to CIPD level 5 and have experience in a services/manufacturing focussed environment. Just as important as technical capacity will be team fit.
