Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect Full Time Contract Inside IR35Remote based (some travel to Cornwall required monthly)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements using a customer centric, business outcome view.
  • Analyse existing business processes and identify areas for improvement or optimization using Dynamics 365 F&O capabilities (Fit-Gap Analysis).
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the technical aspects of the Dynamics 365 F&O implementation.
  • Engage across multiple independent work streams (that use D365 Finance, D365 SCM and D365 Commerce) and ensure that consistent approaches are being used, and that programmes of work do not overlap or impact on each other.
  • Present options and solutions using Dynamics 365 F&O to business requirements and problems.
  • Design functional solutions within Dynamics 365 F&O that align with the client's business processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to define test scenarios and validate that configured solutions meet the specified requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshoot issues, and implement resolutions to ensure the system's continuous functionality.
  • Work closely with technical teams, including developers and administrators, to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Assess upcoming features and release plans for Dynamics 365 F&O, providing recommendations for adoption.
  • Contribute to project planning and estimation activities, offering insights into the functional aspects of the implementation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest updates, features, and best practices related to Dynamics 365 F&O and with advancements in fashion retail and wholesale, and partner management processes to provide informed recommendations.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users to facilitate a smooth transition to Dynamics 365 F&O and promote user adoption.

Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of D365 F&O
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Solution Architect - must have knowledge in D365 Finance, D365 SCM, and D365 Commerce.
  • Significant Experience on Dynamics 365 F&O Implementations and transformations involving Dynamics 365 F&O
  • Knowledge and experience of using Azure DevOps and implementing projects using a hybrid agile delivery methodology
  • Strong experience and understanding of the functional aspects of Finance, SCM, and Commerce solutions and of Azure Integration Services solutions
  • Clear and concise written and verbal English, with an ability to work across geographically distributed teams
  • 4+ years' experience in Retail (Fashion) sector is required
  • Willing to travel to Cornwall a number of days per month as requested by client.
  • Knowledge of Azure Integration Services (APIM, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
