The Role:As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations by managing supplier payments and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships
- Assisting with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure accurate financial processing
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who has some experience in finance (even if only limited) and is eager to continue developing their skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable role (purchase ledger, finance admin, etc.)
- A good understanding of finance processes and an eagerness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems (experience with any accounting software is a bonus)
