This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some prior experience in finance looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role:

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations by managing supplier payments and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing and processing payment runs
  • Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships
  • Assisting with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
  • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure accurate financial processing
Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who has some experience in finance (even if only limited) and is eager to continue developing their skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable role (purchase ledger, finance admin, etc.)
  • A good understanding of finance processes and an eagerness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems (experience with any accounting software is a bonus)
