Pay Rate: £15.00
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team based in St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driver looking for day shifts with a competitive salary and excellent working conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for local and regional deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with all road traffic laws and company policies.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records.
- Adhere to tachograph and driving hours regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
- Hold a valid Digital Tacho Card.
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) Card.
- Previous experience in a Class 1 driving role is essential.
- Strong understanding of tachograph rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
- A good knowledge of road networks in the local area.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
