We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join an established engineering company based in Merseyside. In this role, you will play a critical role in delivering a range of rail-civil design projects across the North West. Key responsibilities include acting as a designer in compliance with CDM/CSM regulations, preparing and supporting the development of both outline and detailed designs for various projects, checking and approving procedures throughout project delivery, and mentoring junior engineers. We are hiring at multiple levels (Standard, Senior, and Lead Engineers) to support these vital projects.

The successful candidate MUST hold a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and be either a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with a recognised professional body (e.g., ICE, IStructE). Strong technical skills in civil engineering design within the railway sector is essential, including knowledge of Network Rail standards, Eurocodes, and civil design/construction principles. Proficiency in computer analysis programs such as TEDDS and Supersuite is required, as well as experience in producing drawings using 2D/3D MicroStation. A full UK driving license is essential as you will be visiting sites across the Northwest. While not essential, the ideal candidate will have a master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and experience acting as a CRE under mentorship.

The Client is a specialist engineering company that offers a wide range of surveying, design, and consulting services within the railway industry across the Northwest of England.
