Tradewind Recruitment is excited to present an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants to work in and around St. Helen's across Early years. You must have experience working with this age group, and caring for challenging children with SEN needs.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to children across Early Years alongside supporting the Teacher with day to day activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the teachers to encourage the students learning and growth
  • Providing group and or one-to-one support, helping students to engage and succeed in their learning
  • Supporting student's emotional and social development in a safe, inclusive environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive, structured learning space
  • Pro active and confidant

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Early Years
  • Experience supporting students with SEN needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children and young people
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
