Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Electrical Compliance Surveyor for a Housing Association based in Merseyside. This is a permanent role, paying £39,000 per annum.

The role:

  • To proactively work with the Compliance Team to provide an efficient and coordinated workflow to deliver full assurance of compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation that ensure the protection of the company’s services and reputation through the completion of quality audits
  • To liaise with internal and external contractors on site ensuring the service provides value for money, meets quality and statutory requirements, and achieves operational efficiencies
  • To implement a reliable, effective quality assurance system for all work streams by combining fully intrusive, work in progress and visual risk assessment inspections to help identify any trends or weaknesses and to provide findings/data for inclusion in monthly reporting
  • To monitor contractors / suppliers and ensure their standard of work is acceptable and in compliance with recognised safety practices and agreed specifications.
  • To be responsible for providing advice regarding the design of mechanical and electrical installations relating to both existing properties and new build properties

What you need:

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (18th Edition) & maintenance.
  • IOSH Working Safely qualification or willing to work towards
  • Evidence of and commitment to continual professional and personal development.
  • Must hold full current driving license.
  • Ability to travel to various locations using own transport with business insurance.
