Start Date: 20th of January - February half term (Possibility to extend.)
Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their early years? A welcoming and inclusive school in St Helens (WA10) is seeking a qualified Nursery Assistant/Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Assist in managing challenging behavior with patience and understanding.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
- EYFS qualification (essential).
- Experience working with SEN children and managing challenging behavior (desired).
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
