Castlefield Recruitment is currently working with a well-established housing association in Merseyside, seeking an Allocations & Lettings Officer for an initial 3 month temporary contract. This position offers an hourly rate of £22.45 per hour via an umbrella company. With a flexible 37-hour working week, you will enjoy flexibility in your start and finish times.

Allocations & Lettings Officer – Housing Association – About The Role:

  • Allocate and manage properties, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for tenants and organizations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and empathy.
  • Utilize advertising and marketing strategies to promote vacant properties and attract suitable applicants.
  • Facilitate property viewings and guide prospective tenants through the application process.
  • Handle administrative tasks including drafting tenancy agreements, managing rent payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct regular property inspections, coordinate maintenance work, and promptly address tenants' maintenance requests.

Allocations & Lettings Officer – Housing Association – What You Need:

  • Previous experience in property allocations, lettings, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
